Armagh born singer and flautist strongly rooted in her trad Sean-nós background, Ríoghnach Connolly also stirs elements of Appalachia, Blues and Jazz into the folk archive cooking pot. Rioghnach is winner of BBC Folk Awards 2020 & 2021, is signed to Real World Records, and performs with AfroCelt Soundsystem. She has worked with us on all our Manchester programmes since 2015.
